Brrr it’s cold in there!
A huge shout out to Deanmill Workers Club for hosting a great afternoon and Sonia Porter for all her work pulling together a successful fundraiser for an important cause.
I was just the stand in today for my colleague Kara Thomas who was unable to participate in the plunge due to illness. We all wish her a safe and speedy recovery. I know how much she wanted to be there and I’m sure she’ll be back with a vengeance next year! Kara did all of the hard work in raising the funds, even organising her replacement from her hospital bed. If you would like to add to her fundraising efforts, there is still a collection tin at Southern Forests Medical Centre for the next few days
